La gymnastique artistique féminine (GAF)
La gymnastique artistique féminine ou GAF se pratique sur 4 agrès: table de saut, barres asymétriques, poutre et sol. Elle tient autant de l’art que du sport. Au-delà de la performance physique, la maitrise technique, la souplesse et la grâce sont les qualités de la réussite.
Les gymnastes se doivent aussi d’être rigoureuses. Il s’agit d’une véritable démonstration de force et d’agilité dans la maitrise de son corps.
En gymnastique artistique, la gymnaste recherche et apprécie l’élégance et la technicité aux barres asymétriques, l’équilibre à la poutre, la légèreté et la chorégraphie au sol et l’impulsion au saut.
